Has anyone else noticed their cats gain weight when they lose it?
Something I noticed was that my Emily and my Charlotte both gained weight after I lost it. That’s interesting because I used to be overweight and my cats were skinny but now that I’m in fantastic shape, my cats are overweight, chubby, what’s that all about?
The only thing I can think of is something a Reiki Master once told me. Those of you don’t know Reiki is a Japanese form of healing art that involves moving the hands around and moving the energy around. It’s actually very nice and very helpful in many ways so what this master told me was that cats are healers and they like to lie in areas where there is negative energy because they like to help.
She went further to say that male cats tend to hold onto that energy while female cats dissipate it, which explains why male cats have a tendency to have more health problems.
Now, I don’t know if that’s true but it certainly resonates, kind of. Why else would my cats now all of a sudden be chubby when not much else has changed? Sure they got a little bit older but not much.
So what do you guys think any speculation ideas advice has anyone else experienced the phenomenal?
